Ball with a ring is designed to demonstrate the expansion of a solid when heated. The kit should include a tripod, metal rings with a coupling and a ball with a chain. The top of the tripod rod should be curved and a chain with a ball should be attached to it. The ring coupling must fit onto the tripod rod and can be installed together with the ring at the required level. Above the ring on the tripod rod there should be a ball suspended on a chain.
